About Fuel Fox Pro

What do I get with Pro?

Unlimited AI chat with our nutritionist assistant, unlimited photo and barcode logging, full 7-day meal plans tailored to your goals, and access to your complete nutrition history.

How much is Pro?

US $4.99 / month or US $39.99 / year (about 33% cheaper). Prices may vary slightly in your local currency — the paywall in the app always shows the current price in your region.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. New subscribers get a free trial: 1 week on the monthly plan or 2 weeks on the annual plan. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

What happens when I’m on the free plan?

You can log meals, use presets, track macros, and get a few AI estimates and chat messages per day. When you hit the limit, the assistant gently lets you know and points you to the paywall.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, tap Fuel Fox Pro, then Cancel Subscription. Apple handles all subscription management — you can also start there if you need a refund.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted. Everything you logged stays in your account. You keep access to Pro features until the end of your current paid period, then the app returns to the free limits. You can re-subscribe at any time.

How do I restore purchases on a new device?

Sign in with the same account, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Your Apple ID tells us you already own Pro and the app unlocks automatically.

Does the subscription sync across iPhone, iPad, and the web?

Yes. Your Pro entitlement is tied to your Fuel Fox account, so any device you sign in on gets access.

I’m having a billing problem.

Apple handles all payments, receipts, and refunds. You can contact them at reportaproblem.apple.com. If that doesn’t solve it, email us at support@fuel-fox.app and we’ll help.

About the app

Does Fuel Fox work offline?

You can view previously logged meals and add custom meals offline. Search, photo estimation, and the AI chat need an internet connection because they query our server. A banner appears at the top of the app when you’re offline.

Is my data private?

Yes — your meals, photos, and chat history are tied to your account and protected by row-level security. We don’t sell data, we don’t run advertising, and we don’t use your content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Is Fuel Fox a substitute for a doctor or dietitian?

No. Fuel Fox is a tracking and estimation tool, not a medical device. If you have a health condition, please talk to a qualified professional.

How accurate is the AI nutrition estimation?

Pretty good for common foods and branded items, but it’s still an estimate. When you care about precision, use the barcode scanner (which pulls real product data) or adjust the macros manually after logging.

Does Fuel Fox work with Apple Health?

Yes. If you grant permission, logged meals are written to Apple Health as dietary energy and macros. Health data stays on your device — it never leaves your iPhone.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — you can delete your account from the Profile tab. Your data is removed within 30 days, except where law requires us to keep records (e.g., tax receipts for subscription payments).
