Terms of Use

Welcome to Fuel Fox. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Fuel Fox (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Fuel Fox mobile app, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Fuel Fox

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to the processing of your personal data without parental approval). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it to these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for everything that happens under your account. Please tell us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Fuel Fox Pro subscription

Fuel Fox offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Fuel Fox Pro, which unlocks unlimited AI chat, unlimited photo and barcode logging, 7-day meal plans, and full nutrition history.

Title: Fuel Fox Pro
Length: 1 month or 1 year, depending on the plan you choose.
Price: US $4.99 / month or US $39.99 / year, or the equivalent in your local currency as shown on the paywall at the time of purchase.
Introductory offer: New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial (1 week on monthly, 2 weeks on annual). The trial converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
Auto-renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the price of the selected plan.
Managing and cancelling: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) after purchase. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current paid period remains active until its end date.
Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription during the trial.

Restore purchases

If you lose access to Pro on a device where you previously purchased it, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall. Restoring uses your Apple ID and does not move an existing subscription between different Apple accounts.

4. No medical advice

Fuel Fox is a nutrition-tracking tool, not a medical device. Calorie and macro estimates — including anything produced by the AI assistant — are approximations intended for general wellness use. Fuel Fox is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified health professional about your nutrition, fitness, or medical conditions. Do not rely on Fuel Fox for decisions that could affect your health.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the meals, photos, goals, and messages you log. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you (e.g., generating estimates, syncing across your devices, producing analytics). We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

Use the Service to harass, threaten, or deceive other people.
Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or republish the Service.
Upload content that infringes someone else’s rights or breaks the law.
Probe, scan, or otherwise try to bypass our security or rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or if we’re required to by law. If your subscription is active when your account ends, the standard Apple refund rules apply.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated estimates will be accurate for every food.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fuel Fox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) US $50.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes that can’t be resolved informally will be handled by the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt — unless local consumer law requires otherwise for residents of the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions that grant mandatory consumer protections.
